The policies of HRS Spiratube
HRS SPIRATUBE, S.L. is a Company committed to Quality with policies for Health and
Safety at Work and Environmental Care and we have obtained accreditation to
ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 from the certifying authority
TÜV Management Service GmbH which demand the establishment of systems
for continuing improvement.
In addition, HRS SPIRATUBE is a member of EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering &
Design Group), which is a consortium of equipment manufacturers, food industry representatives,
research institutions and public health authorities whose aim is to promote hygiene
during food processing and packaging operations.
Policies for Health and Safety
The policy for Health and Safety at work at HRS SPIRATUBE, S.L. is that all activities
,whether carried out on Company premises or externally on site by Company personnel
or by external subcontractors, must be carried out in a risk free environment with
maximum security for both personnel and for the installations.
The prevention of accidents and professional diseases is a concern for all personnel
and requires their active participation in respecting the established norms and
procedures for security as well as the provision of adequate resources by the Company.
In order to achieve the policy for Health and Safety the Senior Management of HRS
SPIRATUBE, S.L. are committed to:
- As a minimum, comply fully with the requirements laid down in the Spanish 'Law for
the prevention of risks in the workplace' (Spanish Law 31/1995 of 8th of November
1995, revised by Spanish Law 54/2003 of 12nd of December 2003).
- To use collectively or individually the means to improve working conditions and
eliminate risks at source wherever possible.
- By means of regular medical examinatons
and security campaigns, protect and evaluate the health of its personnel in order
to ensure they are able to carry out their work tasks safely.
- Provide training and information to Company personnel about the risks inherent in
their work as well as the measures that should be adopted to prevent or minimise
those risks..
Quality Policy
The Senior Management of HRS SPIRATUBE, S.L. understand quality to be an acceptable
balance between the expectations and needs of their clients and the needs and interests
of the organization itself.
It is for this that the continuing satisfaction of the client, within the framework
of acceptable Company profitability, constitutes the main objective of our Quality
Policy.
In order to achieve this objective, and to allow our clients to evaluate the quality
of our Company, the Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Management System
of HRS SPIRATUBE SL complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000
for quality management as well as those of the
European Pressure Directive 97/23/EC.
Objectives:
The essential and permanent objectives of the Quality Policy of HRS SPIRATUBE SL
are:
- A continuing improvement in the effectiveness of the Quality, Health and Safety
and Environmental Management System.
- The reduction of the costs of guarantees
and of poor quality.
- Compliance with all legal requirements, regulations and
clients specifications in order to obtain and maintain a high level of satisfaction
from our clients.
Other complementary objectives could emerge as a result of the periodic revisions
of the system for Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Management made by
the Company Managers with the aim of maintaining its effectiveness and adapting
to changes.
Environmental Policy
The Senior Management of HRS SPIRATUBE, S.L. conscious of the importance of delivering
high quality products and services in way which respects the environment both in
the activities of design and development in our offices in Murcia and in the purchasing
and manufacturing activities in Cartagena, are committed to:
- Guaranteeing compliance with current environmental legislation and regulations as
well as other requirements to which the organization subscribes.
- Controlling the processes, products and services and their effects on the environment,
and to evaluate in order to anticipate the environmental effects of any new developments.

Establishing measures which guarantee the prevention at source where possible and
the minimization of the generation of waste products.
- Involving all employees
in the environmental management activities of the company to develop their sense
of responsibility and awareness of the effects of their work on the environment.

Collaborating with suppliers, clients, Government Agencies and the general public
to provide accurate information about the environmental impact of the activities
of HRS SPIRATUBE SL . and its products as well as any accidents or incidents resulting
from its activities.
